Parents in the 1950s could save good money at Halloween by giving their children this paper costume to wear! What back then would have been the tackiest costume in the neighborhood is today a charming and rare Disney collectible. In one of the stranger promotional tie-ins, dry cleaners packaged customer's clothes in this paper garment bag that doubled as a Disney costume! "SEE JAQ IN WALT DISNEY'S CINDERELLA AT YOUR LOCAL THEATRE," touts a message printed at the bottom of the bag-costume. "First in dry cleaning- approved Sanitone service." This charming relic of a bygone era is in good condition. Some tattered edges where the hangers poke through, and folds and wrinkles, otherwise fine. This is no Hallmark card- and you couldn't buy it in any store.  It's the official Disney Company corporate Christmas card, sent out to friends of the company in 1999.  The art featured on the cover is reproduced from the Disney Studio's 1934 Christmas card.  Includes the original envelope.  A wonderful Disney Studio collectible.  Item # 1570, $5.95

Disney didn't give Avon Cosmetics permission for this unauthorized item- Avon just shortened the name "It's a Small World" to "Small World" and produced it anyway.  This interesting item, dating from the 1960's or 1970's features a plastic, Mary Blair-ish dolll.  Her head is the lid to a spray bottle (no longer working) of cologne.  Box features bright graphics.  Approximately 5" tall.
